Today's Fact (Rather experience)
Dr Rathna wanted to share this experience with you. Opposite their clinic (Pathanjali), there is a college. A lecturer of that college came to the clinic one day, with his wife who was six months pregnant. During routine checkup, their gynaec could not feel the heart beat of the baby, and therefore they said the baby had to be aborted. As he has usually seen the board of the clinic, he just wanted to check if anything could be done in acupuncture, and came on the way to the Doctor's clinic. Dr Rathna inspected the pulse and asked her to lie down and just pressurized the first point of the Kidney meridian. (K1). Within minutes, the patient could feel the baby moving and today she is the proud mother of a 1.5 years old girl baby. Incidentally, I was reminded of Dr.Fazlur Rahman's remarks in the book (பெண்களே உங்களுக்காக) that every baby breathes through its lungs only after its birth in the world, and there is no heart beat for it, when inside the womb. What we fee may be just the UB pulse of the mother???? Though it is a bit confusing to accept this fact, this link appears to prove it. Today's Tip
SP6 – the main gynecological point
Pressing this point once a week, strengthens the Spleen and Stomach, resolves dampness, harmonizes the Liver, strengthens the Kidneys, nourishes Blood and Yin, regulates menstruation.
The sixth point of the spleen and pancreas meridian is used for menstrual disorders, metrorrhagia, infertility and other gynecological ailments. For men this point is recommended for sexual disorders. It is also called the point of ‘female beauty’. Another name for the SP6 point is ‘the meeting point of three ladies’, as three meridians meet at this point, namely: spleen, liver and kidney meridians.
